Dear Frances, I just found out from Ken Tirino that Michael passed away. I worked with Michael for several years at LLS, and we became good friends. We both shared a love for history. I was amazed at his passion for American military history and his tremendous depth of knowledge. I've never known any one quite like him. I was just thinking about him the other day, wondering how he was doing. I owed him a book he let me borrow years ago. I had no idea. Please accept my condolences. He spoke about you and your son all the time. Please know that many people cared about him very much.

Dear Michael, Frances, Anthony & Carole, I am so sorry to hear of Micahels passing and wanted to extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. When I think of Michael it's always of him smiling and laughing while telling a great story. Those are the things I think he will be remembered for - making people smile and bringing laughter in their lives. I know it's so difficult to think of this world without him but a happy thought that wherever he is, he is spreading happiness. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with you.

We know our son was a kind and gentle man. The comments in this Guest Book verify that fact and are deeply appreciated by Carole and me.

It is not how long you live but how well. We will pray for him and you in the future.

Dear Michael and Frances, I join with so many others who knew Michael in offering our deepest sympothy on his passing. I've worked with Michael's dad, Anthony, and throughout the years I've learned what kind of man Michael was and how much he meant for Anthony. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Frances and Michael Patrick, My prayers are with you and your family. I have known and worked with Michael over the past 7 years. I considered him a very good friend. We would talk at length about sports, history (particularly the civil war) and family. I feel like I know both of you even though we have never met. My son's name is also Michael Patrick. I will miss his professionalism and work guidance, but more importantly his friendship. We had been planning on seeing at least one Cincinnati Reds' game when he came to the Tri-Sate Chapter this spring. All staff members here at the Tri-State Chapter (Cincinnati, OH) send then prayers and want you to know that Michael will be missed by eveyone of us. Personally it is a loss that I will not get over.
