Michele D. Rotella

Michele Donna Rotella, of New Rochelle, New York, was born to the late Lee and Marie (Allums) Senigaur. She lived a life distinguished by deep faith, genuine compassion, and an unwavering love for her family.

A devoted Jehovah’s Witness, Michele’s faith in Jehovah God was the foundation of her life and the guiding force behind the kindness, love, and grace she showed to everyone she met. Affectionately known as “Yami” by family and friends, she was known for her radiant smile, classy style, bubbly personality, and warm spirit that could brighten any room. Her gentle nature, sincere empathy, and heartfelt concern for others left an enduring impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Michele dedicated her career to caring for others as a Nurse at Westchester Medical Center. She served her patients with compassion, dignity, and professionalism, always treating them with the same kindness and respect that defined her character. Her commitment to helping those in need reflected the selfless and generous person she was.

Above all, Michele treasured her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother whose greatest happiness came from spending time with those she loved. She celebrated every milestone, offered encouragement through every challenge, and filled her home with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Her influence will continue to be felt through the lives of her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.

Michele is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony “Tony” Rotella, Jr.; her daughters, Dawan Rotella-White (Lawrence) and Janelle Rotella; her cherished grandchildren, Jalen, Makhi, Kayla, and Layla Rotella-White; as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Michele held close to her heart the Bible’s comforting promise of the resurrection—a time when she will be welcomed back to life and reunited with those she loves. That hope, found at Revelation 21:4, brought her great comfort and strengthened her faith:

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
