With hearts full of love and gratitude, the family of Obdulia Sierra Tosi announces her peaceful passing. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Born in San Antonio, Texas, Obdulia is preceded in death by her parents Armando H. Sierra and Aurora Garcia Sierra, and brother, Armando G. Sierra Jr. She is survived by five siblings; Guadalupe Paredes (Joe Jr.), Anna Campos (Paul), Blanca Gonzalez (Ramiro), Aurora Valdez (Ruben), and David Sierra.
Obdulia was the steady, loving center of her family — a woman whose warmth shaped generations. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Theodore Robert Tosi, and is carried forward in the hearts of her children Anthony “Tony” Tosi, Tricia Willis (John), Michelle Tosi, and Gina Ruiz (Michael) and her grandchildren Michael Tyler Willis (Jensen), Madeleine Willis, Deegan Ruiz, Caitlyn Ruiz, and Evan Ruiz.
Obdulia’s life was marked by quiet acts of kindness, volunteering, steadfast love, and a nurturing presence that brought comfort to everyone around her. While raising her family in Norfolk, Virginia, she was active in Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus while leading and catering fundraising events like Italian Night. After she and the family moved to San Antonio, Obdulia worked at Sam's Club where she enjoyed engaging with her customers. She loved gardening, travel, cooking for family gatherings, and doting on her children and grandchildren. Her family and friends find peace knowing she is reunited with Theodore and held in eternal rest.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram Rd, San Antonio, TX 78228, US, on September 8, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
