Patricia M. Raso of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the age of 85. Patricia was born to William and Thecla (Faulstich) Gallagher on January 23, 1933 in Peekskill, NY. She was a graduate of Peekskill High School. Patricia met and married the love of her life Anthony Raso in 1954. They shared 64 years together. During those early years, Pat and Tony enjoyed spending their Saturday nights at Bear Mountain, dancing the night away. Pat enjoyed sewing, cooking, and going out to dinner and having a good time. Patricia is survived by her beloved husband Anthony Raso, caring sister Nancy Loughlin (Thomas), and cherished nephew Michael Loughlin. She will be dearly missed by all family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 4-8pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10am on Wednesday, September 26th at St. Patrick’s Church, Verplanck, NY with burial to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery also in Verplanck. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Patricia’s honor to St. Patrick’s Church, 240 11th St, Verplanck, NY.
