Paul Howard Crumb, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away on June 13, 2026. He was 67 years old. Paul was born on January 9, 1959, in New York City to the late Howard F. and Carolyn (Snyder) Crumb.
Paul was raised in Ridgewood, NJ surrounded by his loving family. Paul was a Boy Scout and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He received his bachelor’s degree from Concordia College and his MBA from Pace University. Throughout his long career, Paul applied his financial skills in the fields of education, social work, and property management.
Paul was a proud member of the Peekskill Elks Lodge and previously had leading roles in the Rotary Club of Mahopac, and the Teatown Lake Reservation as well as serving the Lutheran Church in various capacities.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Birgitta Anderson-Crumb, his beloved sons, Nicholas, and Daniel, with fiancée Molly. Paul is also survived by his sisters, Amy, and Nancy Ricciardi (Peter), and his brother Neal (Tracy). Additionally, he is survived by his niece, Arlien Ricciardi, his nephews Benjamin Ricciardi (Jordan) and Patrick Ricciardi. Paul is also survived by his grand-nephew, Caston Ricciardi.
Additionally, Paul is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Paul will be remembered for his kindness and generosity, his strong work ethic, and his deep devotion to his family and friends.
Memorial Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 19th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY 10548. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
