Richard T. Lynch

Richard was born in Peekskill, NY on June 10, 1935 to the late George P. and Cecilia (Keon) Lynch. He was a graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School. Richard worked for 40 years and retired from the Operating Engineers Local #137 as a Crane Operator.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Geraldine Bertoline Lynch; loving children, Patrick (Geri) Lynch and Michele (Andy) Stockel; cherished step-children, Martin (Janet) Dowd, Patrick Dowd, Robert Dowd, Kathleen Bertoline, Christine Colasurdo, Michele (Seth) Pollak; caring sisters, Eileen (Cliff) Kavana and Marie Truscinski. He also leaves behind 21 adoring grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan (Sheridan) Lynch in 1975, his brother Francis "Hockey" Lynch; brother-in-law Skip Truscinski and son-in-law Thomas Bertoline.

Visiting will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 15th at the Assumption Church in Peekskill, NY. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
