Robert F. Scott

Robert was born on July 30, 1945 to the late Charles J. and Madeline (Knapp) Scott in xx, NY. He worked and retired as the Superintendent of Building and Maintenance for the Hendrick Hudson High School. After retiring he went back to work as a Chauffer for Hendrick Hudson High School where he was still currently employed. Robert loved gardening and took great joy in maintaining his property meticulously. His greatest joy in his life was his family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure to know him.

Robert is survived by his beloved children, Robert F. Scott, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, Heidi Sanger of Mamaroneck, NY; devoted brothers and sisters, Charles (Gloria) Scott of Cortlandt Manor, Richard J. Scott of Carmel, NY, Marjorie (Pete) Lazzara of Montrose, NY and Myrtle (John) Swarner of Wappingers falls, NY and his loving grandchildren, Madeline, Lucas, Ava, Leah and Ian. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Lynda (Kramm) Scott in 2006 and his sisters, Madeline Martin, Pauline Gilman and Geraldine Miller.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 3-5 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 31st also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
