Rose M. Musco

Rose was born on March 28, 1927 in Manhattan, NY to Michael and Faustina Musco who have predeceased her in death, along with her brother, Thomas Musco; sisters, Theresa Muso Difilipo, Mary Musco, Margaret Musco Warken and Josephine Musco Stratigeas. Rose is survived by nieces Nancy Mesina of Kissimmee, FL; April Hoffmeister of Long Island, NY. Other surviving family members; Jeannette Farley of New York, NY; Vincent Difilipo; Jaki Burress, Frederick McPhee, Jr., and Thomas McPhee of Peekskill, NY; Frederick and Susan Abreu of Stony Point, NY; Paul and Linda Strausbaugh of Tampa, FL and the Palmietto Family.

Rose was a devout Roman Catholic and loved her church, as well as bingo, animals and gardening. She was associated with seniors groups in Peekskill, Cortlandt and Putnam Valley, NY. After moving to Ocala she joined the Marion Co. Seniors.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 3-7 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 13th at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 1969 Crompond Rd., Cortlandt Manor, NY. Interment of Ashes will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx.
