Rose was born on August 8, 1930 to the late John and Anna (Demitre) Lenich in Verplanck. Rosemarie graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School and spent her career working for the New York State Power Authority. Her greatest joy was her family and shopping was her favorite activity.
She is survived by her son Michael Burns and granddaughters Courtney Burns and Juliana Burns.
She was predeceased by her sisters Jennie Gray (Lenich) and Helen O’Connor (Lenich); brothers Michael Lenich, John Lenich, Joseph Lenich and Peter Lenich.
A funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, November 19 at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 241 11th Street, Verplanck, NY.
