He graduated from Southwest Baptist College, Bolivar, Missouri and William Jewell College, Liberty, Missouri. He received his Bachelor of Divinity degree from Midwestern Seminary and in 1980 earned his Doctorate of Divinity degree there. Dale worked with his cousin in the Lockman Foundation on the development of Bible translation work. Churches of ministry were in Douglas, AZ, Downey, CA, St. Joseph, MO, San Diego, Cerritos and Faith Baptist Church, Moreno Valley, CA from which he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carol, daughter Beth and son Jon. He leaves behind his beloved wife Margie, daughters Chris (with Mark) and Ruth (with David) and daughter-in-law Laarni, and grandchildren Toby (with Annay), Emily, Faith, Lydia, Jonathan, Nathan and Noah, 6 nieces and a nephew.
