April Vaughn Lemesh

April Vaughn Lemesh, age 76, of Riverside, California, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in Riverside, California. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on April 23, 1947 to the late John Oscar and Mary Jane Vaughn.

April earned an Associate in Arts degree from Riverside Community College. She began her career in telecommunications with GTE and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. She was an avid reader and during her retirement enjoyed volunteering at the Rancho Cucamonga Public Library. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. April will be fondly remembered for her kindness, generosity, and genuine love for others.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Katie Parker, Darin Lemesh (Christina), and Daryl Lemesh (Gemma); daughter-in-law, Emily McFall; 13 grandchildren; sister-in-law Roseann Zgorliski (Mitch); 3 nieces and a nephew; and many treasured friends. April was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Lemesh, parents, John and Mary Jane Vaughn, brother, John Allen Vaughn, and son, Thomas Michael McFall.

Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Mortuary, Moreno Valley, California. Funeral Mass will be at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 3680 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, California 92506 on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. Private Committal service will follow at Riverside National Cemetery.
