Bernice was the oldest of 11 kids.
Bernice attended church throughout her life and committed her life to the Lord at a young age. In 1952 Bernice headed west and came to California. In 1968, Bernice went on a blind date and met the man who would become the love of her life, Mr. Willis Wilson. Bernice and Willis were married on February 13, 1971.
Bernice was a nurse at Hawthorne Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends who were very important to her. She also loved cooking, fishing, and crocheting with her daughter at times.
Bernice was an adored mother of two; Angela Wilson McClellan and Eric Wilson. Bernice shared many many memories with her eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Bernice was preceded in death by husband, Willis Wilson; father, Frank Rowan; and 4 brothers.
