Camielle Nichole Marie Spigner, who is lovingly known as “Nikki” to family and friends, was born on December 7, 1972, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the firstborn child of Denise and William Spigner. After a year in Cheyenne, Nikki and her parents moved back home to Omaha, Nebraska. The growing family then settled in Riverside County, California, in 1976. This is the community in which Nikki was raised and called home for the rest of her years until her passing on May 21, 2025.
In her professional life, Nikki worked for more than 30 years at UPS, in Ontario, CA Air Operations Hub and held many roles in the company. She simultaneously worked for over 25 years at the Moreno Valley Unified School District.
In both places of employment, she was a strong union representative--standing up for her coworkers’ labor rights with determination and compassion in Teamsters Local 63 and Moreno Valley Unified School District Chapter of MVEA.
Nikki had a way of winning hearts through her cooking. Her food wasn’t just good; it was legendary as Nikki loved to impress others with her amazingly delicious meals, and it showed. Her co-workers, family, and friends complimented her cooking endlessly, and often made special requests for her dishes. If you were lucky enough to sit at her table for a catered event, a holiday feast, or a simple weekend get together; she always took care as a gracious host, taking special care to make sure everyone had plenty to eat and even enough for seconds.
And in her most important role --- that of mother, Nikki was dedicated to raising and providing for her three children: Aunjenae Michelle, Elijah Michael, and Cameron Ellis. She would go all out for her children, on holidays, birthdays, or just because. She was fiercely devoted to her children and proud of every one of them. Her love and pride in them were profound.
To honor the memory of Camielle Nichole Marie Spigner. May you rest in peace. You will be missed.
