Elisa M Parker

We are sad to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Auntie, Elisa Martinez Parker on March 10, 2025, at the age of 87 years.

Elisa was born on November 6, 1937, to Bernardo Martinez and Anatalia Ignacio Martinez of Quezon City, Philippines. She was the youngest of three children (siblings: Flaviana Martinez Tolentino† and Hipolito Ignacio Martinez†).

Elisa started her working career in 1965 at the Malacañang Palace as a stenographer. From 1966-74 she worked for the Commission on Election and then the Philippines Supreme Court from 1974-1981. In 1968, she left her country and moved to the United States of America. There, she met the love of her life, Ezell Parker, Sr.†, they married on February 26, 1987. Elisa worshipped at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Moreno Valley, CA.

Auntie Elisa is lovingly remembered and will be missed by all who knew her well and whose lives she touched. She leaves to cherish in memory her loving nieces and nephews: Gloria (Goring), Veronica, Rosita, Luisito, Iluminada, Angelita, Manuel, Marita Raul, Rey, Rizaldy and Arnaldo. She also leaves behind her stepchildren: Gloria Handy, Ezell Parker, Jr., and Marion Parker.
