Frank Nicosia Jr. was born in Newport News Virginia on April 2, 1948. Frank was the middle child the only boy. He has an older sister Lorna Lewis and a younger sister Rene Lowell. He was a hardworking man who took great pride in his work as an ironworker. He spent his life working with his hands, building and creating, and putting in the hard work it took to provide for the people he loved.
Frank loved his family. His beloved wife, Carol Nicosia, held a very special place in his heart. Their love and the life they shared together will remain a cherished part of our family's memories. Frank always reminded everyone around him family comes first. No amount of money could replace that.
Frank is survived by his son, Jeffrey Nicosia; daughter-in-law, Stacy Nicosia; great-niece, Shannon Tipple; and grandchildren, Jade Brown, Alexandria Nicosia, and Frankie Nicosia.
Frank was so much more than his work. He was a father, a loved one, and a man whose presence became an important part of our lives and of those around him. His strength, determination, and loving spirit were qualities that will always be remembered.
The memories we have of him will remain with us forever—his smile, his voice, his stories, and all the little moments that made him who he was. Although we would give anything for more time with him, we are grateful for the years and memories we were blessed to share.
His passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot describe. Yet his legacy lives on through his family and through everyone whose life he touched.
"Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen."
