Mr. Gray was truly a man of honor an inspiration to me and others  he will truly be missed.
He was such a great person  He always provided for his family  I'm glad that I was a part of his life he showed me how to be a real man.
And because of him I try to replicate his ways his love  his admiration his leadership  his devotion in making sure that family comes first . Momma Maxie , Treva & Brandy I Love You All know that if you ever need anything im just a phone call away . R.I.P Frederick Gray one of my True Idles  .

My sincere condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Fred with the City of LA many, many years ago. He was one of the most soft spoken kindest person ever. He had a beautiful soul. Rest in peace Fred.

It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of our neighbor Freddy Gray. Freddy had a  profound impact on the the lives of those around him. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to look out for others are qualities that are truly admirable.

The Gray family became an extension of the Carraway family,  The idea of the "village" is so important, and it's clear that Freddy  was a key part of that village.

Losing someone like that is incredibly difficult but it's clear that his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, especially ours.

It is with heavy hearts that we The Carraway’s remember our dear neighbor and friend, Fredrick Eugene Gray.  Known to us as Freddy, this man embodied the true spirit of kindness and community. Freddy was more than just a neighbor; he was a guardian, a friend, and a shining example of how to live a life of integrity and compassion.
Freddy was the kind of neighbor who would stay up past midnight to ensure his neighbor arrived home and enter her house safely, despite having to be at work early in the morning himself.  His vigilance and concern for others were unparalleled, and his actions spoke volumes about his character. Always ready to lend a helping hand, he was a constant presence in our lives, offering support and comfort whenever needed.
A hardworking family man, he dedicated himself to providing for and nurturing his loved ones. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he worked tirelessly to ensure their happiness and well-being. His commitment to his family was a testament to his strength and unwavering dedication.
Freddy also extended this love and care to his friends and neighbors. Whether it was through a warm greeting, a shared laugh, or a thoughtful gesture, he made everyone around him feel valued and appreciated. His generosity of spirit and genuine kindness left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In remembering him, we celebrate a life well-lived, one that was marked by love, hard work, and an unyielding commitment to others. Freddy's legacy will continue to inspire us to be better neighbors, friends, and family members. We are grateful for the 47 years as neighbor in Gardena we had with the Gray family and will cherish the memory of Freddy, his unwavering kindness and the beautiful example he set for us all.

In Loving Memory of Fred Gray

It is with deep love and gratitude that I, Cynthia Cash, honor my brother-in-law, Fred Gray. Since marrying my sister Maxie in 1965, Fred has been a cherished member of our family for 60 years, embodying kindness, integrity, and  support.

Fred has always treated Maxie with respect and love, creating a warm and joyful home. His devotion as a father to their children Treva, Brandy and granddaughter La - La has been inspiring, instilling values that will resonate for generations.

Fred also served as a wonderful role model for my three sons, Darryl, Steven , and Brian. I gave birth to my first son Darryl in 1967, Fred and my sister were there to show support.  Eventually he and Darryl developed a very special bond, he was an EXCELLENT uncle to each of my boys and his influence has shaped their lives profoundly. His generous spirit and ability to connect deeply with others have left an indelible mark on them, for which I am forever grateful.

Fred exemplified the wisdom of Proverbs 22:1: "A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold." He lived this truth daily, with his character and kindness enriching the lives of all who knew him.

As we celebrate Fred’s memory, let us remember the love he shared and the profound impact he made on our family. He was not just a brother-in-law but a beloved family member and friend. I love him dearly, and he will be missed beyond measure.

The saying “the hole in my heart just got bigger” has never been so true.  Although I know Our Heavenly Father called you home to rest…the selfishness in me, wished he hadn’t.  I will miss you immensely and will forever remember all the conversations and laughs we shared.  Thank you Fred!  Rest in Peace!

Our sincere condolences to you Maxie, Treva, and Brandie. Fred was one of the first neighbors I met when I moved to Dusty Coyote in Moreno Valley. He was always there to assist me. I will never forget his kindness to me and my son, and he became a friend to my husband.

In loving memory of my EXTRAORDINARY Uncle / Pops Fred, a REMARKABLE man who was not only my uncle but also a father figure, a mentor, and a spiritual guide . . . my real life earthly angel.  Uncle  / pops Fred embodied love in its purest form; his heart overflowed with compassion and wisdom that inspired everyone he encountered. His laughter would light up my darkest days, and his words were a balm for my soul. He taught me the importance of faith, resilience, and kindness, showing me through his actions what it truly means to live a life devoted to God and to others.

Through MANY challenges he stood by me, providing guidance that shaped my character and illuminated my path. Uncle / pops Fred had a unique ability to see the potential in others, always encouraging me to strive for greatness. His expression of love and belief in me instilled confidence and courage that I carry with me EVERY day. The countless lessons he imparted will forever echo in my heart, reminding me to be the best version of myself.

I am eternally grateful for the time we shared, for the DEEP conversations that challenged my thinking, and for the love that always surrounded me. God truly blessed me with a GREAT man of God in my life, one whose legacy of faith, love, and integrity will live on in me and all who knew him. Uncle / pops Fred, you are an irreplaceable part of my life, and while I grieve your absence, I celebrate the incredible impact you’ve made. Your spirit will forever guide me, and I PROMISE to carry forward your teachings, sharing your love with the world.
