

Freemon Hubbard, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away November 20, 2023. He was born in Gurdon, Arkansas to Wesley and Earlene (Talley) Hubbard, March 22, 1937. He joined the United States Air Force in June 1955, became a cryptographer and served in the Vietnam War. In 1978, Freemon retired from the United States Air Force and pursued a job with the US Postal Service. He worked for the Postal Service for over 20 years throughout the county of Riverside. In his spare time, Freemon enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching old Westerns.
Freemon leaves behind his stepson, Thomas Washington and his wife Sarah Washington of Moreno Valley, California, son Freemon L. Hubbard, Jr., and niece Mary Francis Nock of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews in California, Georgia, and Illinois. Freemon was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Masa Hubbard (2014), daughter Helen (Hubbard) Donnelly (2023), sister, Mary June Pipkin, and brother, Mitchell Hubbard (2015).
A Memorial Service for Freemon will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Miller Jones Mortuary and Crematory, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, California 92553. Following the Memorial Service will be a Committal Service at 1:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California 92518.
