George Bey was born on December 3rd, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, to Ida and George Sr. His family later moved to Perris, California, where he attended schools throughout the city. George married in 1975 and had three children with his wife. He later welcomed another child. He worked at Certain-Teed Cement Pipe Company for 10 years before later moving to Texas, where he lived for several years and worked a variety of jobs. George eventually returned to Perris, California, where he met and married Linda Brownlee. Together, they enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, and caring for their animals.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Brownlee Bey; his mother, Ida; his father, George Sr.; four brothers, Virgil, Ronald, Donald Moore, and Buford Bey; two sisters, Fatima Clark and Gloria Gene Moore; and his faithful companion, Ruger.
George leaves to mourn four children: Eric Bey and his wife, Miesha, of Inglewood, California; George Bey III and his wife, Laivory, of Perris, California; Brittany Bey of Rancho Cucamonga, California; and Nina Bey of Phoenix, Arizona. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and three sisters: Barbara Carney and her husband, Vernon, of Moreno Valley, California; Linda Bey Randolph of Beaumont, Texas; and Julia Marshall of Dallas, Texas, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
George will be remembered by those who knew him, and his memory will continue to live on through his family and loved ones.
