Gloria Vara Huecias

Gloria Vara Huecias, whose grace and vibrant spirit touched all who knew her, passed peacefully on January 23, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 10, 1946, in Uvalde Texas, a heritage she always held with great pride.

On July 28, 1973, Gloria married the love of her life, Antonio Huecias. Together, they raised five sons and created a home filled with strong family bonds and pride.

Gloria had a true love for traveling to Mexico, where she cherished the culture, traditions, and time spent with family. She especially enjoyed dancing, a passion that reflected her joyful spirit. Known for her vibrant presence and radiant beauty, Gloria had a rare ability to light up any room. Her laughter, strength, and loving heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Antonio “Toño” Huecias; her five sons; her daughters-in-law; and her cherished grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Gloria will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her passion for life, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to all who were blessed to know her.
