Irving Renato Solorzano

Irving Renato Solorzano, born May 5, 1946, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to Modesta and Carlos Solorzano. Where they embarked on a life journey marked by creativity, perseverance, and dedication. After moving to the United States in 1957, Irving's family settled in Oceanside, California, where they established a thriving family-owned dry cleaning business. Irving's artistic talents flourished at Vista schools, where he designed the logo for Vista High School's Panthers.

His commitment to our great country led him to the US Army, where he proudly maintained the fleet helicopters.

Irving's professional journey continued at Hughes Aircraft Company, followed by a successful entrepreneurial venture manufacturing bonding machines and parts.

In Irv’s early life he umpired

Little league in both Oceanside and Vista. But the love of the sport did not end there, he played in the family’s sponsored team where they won their division.

Later to manage and coach the girls team he put together.

In his retirement, Irving found joy in his home in Moreno Valley with his loving wife, Catherine Solorzano. He is survived by his wife Cathy, brother Eric Solorzano, sister Priscilla Rabreau, and brother Rony Solorzano, and remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched.

Irving had two brothers that had past away a brief short time ago. Charles Solorzano and Dean Solorzano.

Irv will be forever remembered as the uncle that was always cracking jokes and was so much fun, he would take them for rides in his most cherished cherry red Shelby Mustang. So many nieces and nephews he had that adorned him will forever remember his love for life.

Irv lost his battle of life on November 6, 2025 Irv was 79

A graveside service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518, United States. The service is scheduled for November 25, 2025, from 10:15 am to 10:45 am.
