John was deeply loved and will be missed by his family. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (David) and Heather (Jesse); his son, Eric (Nancy); ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Richard (Cathy), Leo (Joan), Christine (Mike) and Jim (Cindy).
John was an alumnus of Cal State University, Fullerton, where he completed his higher education and obtained his teaching credential. He was a high school science/biology teacher for 26 years in Chino, California. His passion for woodworking, playing golf, spending quality time with family and friends and listening to good music by the pool with a cold beer in the summer filled his life with joy and happiness.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor, with details to be provided at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America (dementiasociety.org) or the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
