Larry Richard Sellers Sr., age 71, of Moreno Valley, California passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. Larry was born in the Imperial Valley, and raised in Westmorland, California. He graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1971 (Go Wildcats!). After graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp (OoRah!), during the Vietnam era and received an honorable discharge. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Shirley Linder-Sellers, his mother Lula Mae Sellers and his father Willie Sellers and sisters Jeanette Johnson, Wilma Sims, Carol Robinson-Goss, Edna Patterson, and the baby Mary Mebane. He is survived by his daughter Tricia Avalos, son Larry Sellers, Jr., and grandson Larry Sellers the III, sisters Edith Sellers, Donna Sellers, Leatha Sambolah, Debra Whitehead and brother Willie Sellers, step children Pamela Richards, Johnny Bean and Benjamin Bean, grandchildren Emily Vasquez, Leticia Banuelos, Emily Cristerna and three great grandchildren, Samuel, Matthew and Damian Banuelos and a host of nieces and nephews.
