Lupe Cisneros was the Royal Matriarch of the 17 child Ybarra family, among other roles. Raising her siblings when she was still a child, she stepped into the education of motherhood, instead of the education of books. This provided her wisdom, the wisdom of people, something more difficult to obtain than anything from a book. This made her a teacher, not just for her siblings but for the next generation. Her whole life was full of sacrifices, sacrifices of things that we prioritize and hold so dearly to ourselves and our children. 3 children were born of her, 2 sons and a daughter, and there would be 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. All of these she played a motherly role to various degrees, some de facto and some traditional, but ultimately the principles and practices she preached were the same. Her core values are; love of self and family, unselfish altruism, and forgiveness. As long as we walk by these values, then she is not gone, as she lives on through us. She sits on a humble adobe/clay throne in heaven as those unborn or lost both human and dog, guard her palace.
