

On March 2, 2025, in Moreno Valley, CA, Mac Dwight McGonigle went home to be with Jesus. Born in Hutchinson, KS in 1944 and lived in Nickerson. Mac lived with his father James Key McGonigle, his mother Constance Pauline (Grace) McGonigle and his sister Carol McGonigle. Mac had many adventures on the family farm. It fueled his love for the great outdoors!
Mac graduated from Cal Poly Pomona as a Data Processor. Mac and Connie got married on June 23 1967 and shortly after graduation he joined the United States Air Force and served 4 years being stationed in Texas and San Bernardino. After his discharge from the Air Force in 1972, Mac went to work at Fleetwood Enterprise and also went back to Cal Poly to earn his Masters in Business Administration. He retired from Riverside County in 2010.
Mac loved his family fiercely. Things that brought him joy were the outdoors, gardening, photography, fishing, KU basketball games, baseball, being a dad and watching his grandkids grow. Mac was an active member and elder of EV Free/Crosswinds Church of Moreno Valley.
Mac is survived by his wife Connie, children: Carrie & Stephen Warren, Darin & Abigail McGonigle, Mark & Karen McGonigle, and Katie & Jacob Malana. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Tyler Warren, Darin McGonigle Jr., Alex McGonigle, Adam McGonigle, Noelle Malana, Nathan Malana and Elenor McGonigle. Mac is also survived by his sister Carol McGonigle, half-brother Eric McGonigle and half-brother Curtis Hoag.
Graveside service March 24, 2025 @ 10:30am and a Celebration of Life at Crosswinds Church of Moreno Valley @ noon.
