Maria Rocio Andrade

Maria Rocio Andrade, lovingly known as Maria to her coworkers and the world, and Rocio to the family and friends who knew her best, passed away surrounded by love on August 19, 2026, at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California. She was 62 years old.

Born May 9, 1964, in Puebla, Mexico, Rocio came to the United States at just 15 years old. After spending several years in East Los Angeles, she eventually made the Inland Empire her home, building a life filled with family, friendship, laughter, and love.

Rocio was truly the life of the party. She had a joyful spirit, a genuine kindness, and always tried to see the good in everyone. She loved making sure those around her were well fed, happy, and having a good time. She loved good food, traveling, beautiful hotels, dancing, and being surrounded by the people she loved. An amazing cook, she especially enjoyed trying new recipes and creating meals that brought people together.

Those who knew Rocio will remember her laughter, generosity, zest for life, and her ability to make any gathering more special with her signature greeting: “What’s up, party people!”

We will miss her spirit, her generosity, her incredible cooking, her laughter, her dancing, and the joy she brought wherever she went. But most of all, we will simply miss her.

Rocio leaves behind her husband, Omar Andrade; her mother, Emma Santillan; siblings Gerardo Romero, Jacob Flores, Juan Flores, Erika Flores, Rudy Gamez, and Connie Alvarado; children George Banderas, Stefany Banderas, and Kaylee Andrade; and grandchildren Levi Banderas and Remi Banderas.

Her memory will live on in the stories we tell, the meals we share, the music we dance to, and the love she gave so freely.
