Grams was a woman of wisdom! She was always someone to go to for life advice. When I was always around the house back in high school, whenever DeAndre and I had a problem to solve, we walked down the hall and asked Grams. She never quickly gave advice. We would talk in there, in her office, for an hour or so. She was always one to help people- either with her words or her loving actions. She cooked greens for my wedding! I will always remember grams as a woman of wisdom.

My heart goes out to you and your family during this difficult time. Losing a mother leaves a space that words can never truly fill, but I pray you find comfort in the love she gave, the memories you shared, and the strength she instilled in you.

I think that God sends us special friends to share our lives  with, very special friends we can be ourselves with, talk with, laugh with hope with and believe with. Gagi. Mom. Friend. You knew me better than my best friends. I absolutely adored how you were around us kids, I attribute it to the similarities I saw between you and my own mother. I had Dre come visit me in San Diego after we miserably failed to mesh in Oceanside together but we were brothers and it didn't matter if it was a day, a year, 5 years, as soon as we were together it was if we picked up exactly where we left off.  I had field level season tickets right next to Tatis, I gave him a brand new pair of Js and we went. I cried almost the entire game. He explained to me his relationship with my mom and how comfortable she made him feel  in a tougher time for him than I ever knew. Gagi, Kim, Danette, Kiersten and CC, thanks for allowing me into your home and making me feel comfortable in a tough time in my life. After my mother. We then spoke about Gagi and the rest of the fam until he left.  I wasn't the best at expressing how I felt back then.  Now, I can say, You taught me so much. I miss u. I love you.  You affected my life in such a wonderful way. I'll never stop missing you. A big piece of the good in me is from you,  I just turned my life around, talking within the past week, it was the most difficult, but getting to meet your family gave me so much strength and I needed every last bit of strength. I still have horrible days but my family, my families help me get through it.  I'm forever grateful I got to spend time with all yall. My nieces and nephews call my mom Gigi and I call my partner, Bowz. Love all of you,  I hope you are all doing as best as possible, I send each one of you my love,  cuz I don't have much strength to spare. Bye Gagi
