

Myrtle, a beloved matriarch and gentle soul, passed away in Riverside, California, at the age of 93. She was born in Bascom, Jackson County, Florida, where her journey of love and devotion to family began.
Myrtle had a heart for serving others. She volunteered with the Red Cross, bringing comfort to those in need. For 35 years, she worked as the business manager at Perris Dental in California, where her kindness and warm presence brightened the lives of everyone she encountered.
Family was everything to Myrtle. She is survived by her two daughters, Peggy McNitt and Debi Parker, three grandchildren, Elli Rak, Cari Rende, Wil Parker, and Ashley Parker, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love lives on through the generations she nurtured with tender care and unwavering devotion.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Curtis William McNitt, her sister, Lela Stewart Boggs, and her son-in-law, James R. Parker.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her boundless love for her family, and the warmth she brought to every life she touched. Myrtle's memory will be treasured always by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518, United States. The service is scheduled for November 10, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
