Sheila received her Nursing Assistant certification in 1981 and started working in a convalescent home helping the elderly. In 1986, Sheila started working for Metropolitan State Hospital as a Janitor, and from there she started working at Patton State Hospital in 1989. In between this time, Sheila expanded her knowledge in the world of taxes. In 2005, Sheila received her certification and started working at H&R Block.
