Sylvia Pacleb, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was a woman of boundless grace, quiet loyalty, and a deep, steady strength that held everyone around her together.
Born on August 14, 1947, in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Sylvia was the second eldest of five children born to Restituto and Luisa Yacas. From an early age she carried a natural instinct to care for others, and she grew into the sturdy rock of her family — the one everyone turned to in times of trouble, joy, and everything in between.
In 1981, she married Danilo Pacleb, and together they raised their two children in a small house in Country Homes that always seemed to have room for one more — family, relatives, anyone who needed a place to land. As a devoted wife, Sylvia's love for her husband shaped a warm, supportive home that would remain her family's greatest gift.
To her children, Lawrence and Michael, and her cherished grandchildren, Liam and Noah, she was a guiding light. She loved them gently, taught them by the quiet example of her daily life, and celebrated every milestone with a full and joyful heart.
Her love did not stop with her own children. To her siblings and her many nieces and nephews, she was more than a sister and an aunt — she was a second mother, who knew how to listen without judgment, offer wisdom wrapped in patience, and make everyone around her feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.
As a friend, Sylvia was unwavering — steady, warm, and true. She was the kind of friend people cherish for a lifetime and never forget.
Sylvia leaves behind a legacy of devotion, resilience, and unconditional love. While our hearts ache with her loss, we find comfort in knowing that her strength lives on in every life she touched.
A Visitation and Chapel Service will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA 92553, US, on August 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
