Visitation will be held at Jones Funeral Home 715 6th Street Morgan City, Louisiana on February 7, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will take place at Lee Chapel AME Church 609 Freret Street, Morgan City, Louisiana on February 7, 2026, starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Morgan City Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her two brothers, Maxie (Linda) O'Brien, Jr. of Verdunville, Louisiana and Gary (Rose) O'Brien of Lafayette, Louisiana; her sister, Ethel (Raymond) Morrison of Morgan City, Louisiana; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Maxie O'Brien, Sr. and Lillian Celestain O'Brien; stepmother, Genevieve O'Brien; her husband, James Carter, her son, Eric Jackson; sisters, Ellen Rae (Grady) Woods and Mary Shaw; her brothers, Edward (Oraline) Robinson and Carlos (Amelia) O'Brien, Sr..
