Anthony Maize

Anthony "Reddy Red" as he was known, never met a stranger. He loved to walk. Whenever you met him, he would strike up a conversation asking you how everyone in your family was doing.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memories, one brother, Charles (Ruby) Maize of Morgan City, Louisiana; two sisters, Agnes Maize, who cared for him before he became ill and Gale (Cecil) Brown, both of Morgan City, Louisiana; one aunt, Doretha Hickman of New Orleans, Louisiana; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eula and Ernest Maize, Sr.; three brothers, Bobby, Ernest, Jr., and Edward; fives sisters, Rosemary Maize, Pauline Maize, Bonnie Maize, Linda Maize, and Michelle Gray.
