Hilton "Bookie" John Hebert III

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Lee Chapel AME Church 609 Freret Street Morgan City, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his two sons, Hilton Hebert IV of Washington DC and Taylen Michael Carbins of Morgan City, Louisiana; his mother, Joetta Hebert of Morgan City, Louisiana; sister, Detrich (Rick) Hebert-Johnson of Gretna, Louisiana; niece, Brittany Hebert of Gretna, Louisiana; his great niece, Tyler Bailey and great nephew, Cairo Bailey, both of Gretna, Louisiana; a devoted friend, Rachel Carbins of Patterson, Louisiana; along with a host of family and friends.

Hilton III was preceded in death by his father, Hilton Hebert, Jr.; grandparents, Hilton Hebert, Sr. and Mildred Hebert and Eddie Lee Brown, Sr. and Roberta Brown; aunts Lydia Vernon, Brenda Bartley; uncles, Eddie Lee Brown, Jr., Charles I. Brown, Melvin J. Brown, Gregory Hebert.
