Jessie "Nap" Riles

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Patterson, Louisiana.

He leaves to cherish his memories, six sons, Jessie Tarleton, James Tarleton, Randy Riles, all of Patterson, Louisiana, Christopher (Tanisha) Riles of Verdunville, Louisiana, Robert (Cynthia) Tarleton of Jeanerette, Louisiana, Byron (Anessa) Riles of Broussard, Louisiana; one daughter, Cassandra (Lawrence) Riles of Patterson, Louisiana; a brother, Robert (Genevieve) Riles of Reno, Nevada; seven grandchildren, Robert Tarleton, Jr., James Tarleton, Jr., Jarvis Tarleton, Jada Tarleton, Bernadette Riles, Lawrneisha Weston, and Lawrence Weston, Jr.; along with a host of relatives and friends.

Jesse was preceded in death by his wife, Estherene Tarleton Riles; his sisters, Delores Riles-Gray, Erma Riles, Berita Jones, and Malinia Hayes; and his brothers, Wilbert Riles and George Riles.
