To the family of Karla Christine Blunt, I am deeply sorry for the loss of such a beautiful and loving soul. I will miss her smile, her laugh and her generous spirit. Take comfort in knowing that she is at peace with God.

A tribute to my dear friend Karla Christine LaSalle Blunt

From the first day I met you, I fell in love. You showed me unconditional affection and taught me how authentic compassion is shown. Your acts of kindness was felt as far as my village in Nigeria when you gave me medications to give to the needy and medical missions, gave me clothes, bags, purses and shoes that were sent to Manchester United Kingdom. You taught me that the wealth or riches was not the availability of extra dispensable resources. You taught me that wealth is valued by the content of one’s character. You exemplified the true meaning of love and that is why your absence is terribly painful. Christine, you were more than a friend to me. You gave me everything I needed from a good mother. You cared deeply, loved fiercely. Although my heart is shattered by death, I’m comforted because I know that you were welcomed at heaven’s gate with thanks, gratitude and ovation by my loved ones who had gone before you. My darling Christine, I promise that you will be forever missed, forever loved, forever cherished, forever remembered. Thanks for making an indelible impact in my life. While on this side of heaven, I’ll honor your memory by remaining steadfast in living this life authentically, showing genuine love to others and fulfilling your legacy of grace, kindness and selflessness.

I'm a friend of Alex. I consider him a brother from another mother. He spoke so highly of Mrs. Christine. There was never a conversation where he didn't mention his mother and something funny she said, what meal he planned on cooking for her or their plans together. Alex, if I knew what your mom meant to you, your mom definitely knew she was loved by you. May Mrs. Christine rest in the arms of the Lord for eternity. To the LaSalle-Blunt family: you all have sincere condolences. There isn't a tear that the Lord will not dry. He comforts the weary. Praying for your strength during your time of loss.
