Lorraine Bartley

Lorraine Bartley transitioned peacefully on September 17, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on March 19, 1950, in Morgan City, Louisiana, Lorraine lived in Toledo, Ohio for more than 40 years then relocating briefly to New Orleans, Louisiana.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mount Era Baptist Church 406 Lawrence Street Morgan City, Louisiana.

She leaves cherish her memories, one brother, Frank Bartley III of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; three sisters, Ruby B. Sanchez and Celia B. Clark, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Gloria B. (Calhoun) Moultrie of New Orleans, Louisiana; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Bartley Jr. and Hazel Bartley; three brothers, Melvin Bartley, Herbert Bartley, and Huey (Brenda H.) Bartley; four sisters, Audrey B. Merchant, Melinda B. (Lawrence) Martin, Laura Lee B. (Arvel) Marshall, and Jacqueline Bartley; two brothers-in-law, Murphy Sanchez and Thornton Clark; one sister-in-law, Janice L. Bartley; three nephews, Thornton Clark Jr., Christopher Hollins, and Melvin Bartley Jr.; and two nieces, Adriane Bartley and Tyra Johnson.
