Theresa "NuNu" Ann Otis Coleman

Theresa Ann "NuNu" Otis Coleman, age 69, a native and resident of Morgan City, Louisiana transitioned peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Ochsner Jefferson Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Siracusaville Recreation Center Annex Building 1110 Grace Street Morgan City (Siracusaville), Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Carlven C. Coleman, Sr. of Morgan City, Louisiana; three sons, Eric J. (Belva) Chapman, Jr. of Youngsville, Louisiana, Carlven C. Chapman, Sr. and Brodie D. Chapman, both of Morgan City, Louisiana; one daughter, Learita M. Coleman of Denham Springs, Louisiana; two sisters, Deborah (Sam) Hawkins of Houston, Texas and Evangelist Cathy (James) Wilmore of Tucson, Arizona; eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt Otis, Sr. and Mary Louise Jupiter; her grandmother, Elvira Jupiter Sawyer; a brother, Roosevelt Otis, Jr., and her sister Glenda Ann Cooper.
