Armando Ruiz Quiroz

Armando Ruiz Quiroz, passed away on January 9, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Armando was born in Leon Guanajuato, Mexico on February 6, 1936. He migrated with his wife and seven children to the United States in 1971. He was an Upholster by trade and was the owner of Ruiz Upholstery in Gilroy, CA.

He is survived by his wife Esperanza Ruiz Chavira, his daughter Maria De La Luz Rodriguez of Madera, His two sons Armando Ruiz and Felipe Ruiz both of Morgan Hill, his daughter Lorena Rodriguez of Gilroy, daughter Elizabeth Ruiz-Pulido of Fresno, his daughter Bertha Alicia Ruiz of Madera, and his daughter Claudia Yvonne Ruiz of Fresno. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 from 5-8pm with a service at 7pm, both taking place at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey St., Morgan Hill, CA. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 10am at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 17400 Peak Ave., Morgan Hill. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Memorial Park in Morgan Hill.
