Dina Micheli

Dina was born in Lucca (Parezzana), Italy. She was the daughter of Raffaelo and Ida Martinelli. She is preceded in death by her husband, Orlando; her brothers, Michele and Lido Martinelli.

At the age of fourteen Dina traveled to Butte, Montana from Italy, then to Eureka, California where she married, raised her family and lived for 67 years. She has resided in Morgan Hill near her daughter and son-in-law for the past nine months.

Her son, Ernie Micheli and his wife Sharon; her grandson, Orlando; her daughter, Ida Jean and her husband James Woodruff survive her.

There will be a visitation in Morgan Hill at Johnson Funeral Home, 5-7 pm, January 19, 2012, followed by a service from 7-8 pm. Funeral services will also be held in Eureka and will include an evening Rosary at Sanders Funeral Home, January 23, 2012 following the same time frame as in Morgan Hill. There will be a Mass at St. Bernard’s Church January 24, 2012 at 10 am with internment at Ocean View Cemetery and gathering at St. Bernard’s Parish Hall following the services.
