Lonnie Michael III

Lonnie Michael III, born to Lonnie Michael II and Freda Michael, succumbed to his long battle with cancer on April 25th, 2015 at the age of 66. Lonnie passed at his home in Morgan Hill peacefully with his family at his side.

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife Sheila; his children Jason Zamora, Tiffany (Jason) Canen, Sabrina (Brandon) Smith; grandchildren Joshua Zamora, Cole Canen, Aiden Canen and Tyler Canen.

Lonnie worked in the sheet metal industry for nearly 50 years. Working his way through the apprenticeship/journeyman ranks to becoming a business partner and owner with Elden Shreve at Ray L. Hellwig Mechanical in Santa Clara. While Lonnie had a great mind for business and the trade he also had a great heart full of love for his family, his friends, golf and travel. Lonnie was a great man who will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club on May 7th at 11am with a reception to follow.
