Angela was born to Mitchell and Kathryn Brackett on March 30, 1960 in Cleveland County. She loved playing the piano and caring stray dogs and cats. Angela was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Angela is preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn Brackett, and both sets of grandparents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her father, Mitchell Brackett of the home; two brothers, Andy Brackett of Morganton and Jeffrey Brackett and his wife, Mona of Valdese; a niece, Lisa Hollar and her husband, Jeffrey of Connelly Springs; and a great niece, Bristol Hollar.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 19, 2016 in the chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmie D. Richards officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship and refreshment from 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
