Anna-Jane Elizabeth Muhlbaier, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and child of the Most High God. It is easy to praise and relish her life and in other ways difficult to fit Anna into a nice little package of such few words. Anna-Jane touched and gently affected so many lives that will forever be changed by the river of Anna-Jane’s love which she had everyone she met. Whether family, old friend or new acquaintance, few came away from contact with Anna-Jane and remained unchanged by her unconditional love for all and bubbling spring of the joy of life.
As a devoted disciple of King Jesus, the Christ, Anna selflessly gave all her love away just as her King does and now she is with Him and will be missed. Anna-Jane didn’t always have the peace from God to live a life of joy but she ultimately fulfilled the words of Jesus to “Love one another as you love yourself.” Anna-Jane’s legacy of Love, Peace and Joy, not in order but equally, is a testament to her ability to overcome adversity. Her hope would be that ALL people would find what she found in Jesus and never look back.
To put it simply her King, Jesus Christ, was first in her life. Second only to Jesus her God is Michael H. Muhlbaier her son whom she loves more than life itself and ceaselessly spoke of with much love and great honor. Her parents Sebastian and Dorothy Muhlbaier, previously deceased, gifted Anna with several brothers and sisters and God gave her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and on and on to include so many people in her extended family that she loved and loved her. Next, only by order, not lower importance to Anna, the multiple hundreds of brothers and sisters by the bloodline of Jesus. And as Jesus lived so did Anna, loving everyone she touched simply and fully. Once a person entered her orbit they quickly became family to her so today it can be said of Anna, her friends may be few but her family is enormous.
Anna loved passionately and gave selflessly, her greatest gift of all being the gift of love, freely given to any and all that would receive it, just as Jesus selflessly gave all His love to her.
Anna is now and will forever be deeply missed by so many of her “disciples” of love that it is not possible to count them. Those of us left to carry on will cherish her life and endeavor to live it just as she did, selflessly loving others until we also cross from here into eternity. My hope is our memories can one day be celebrated as Anna’s is today, “she loved all, she loved well”.
Instead of flowers, we believe Anna-Jane would prefer to help others as much as possible so our request is that any donations be sent to the “Anna-Jane Fund, The Rising Church, 300 Rockyford Street, Morganton, North Carolina 28655” where it will be used to benefit her passion, early childhood development. All proceeds will be used to benefit youngsters to love and grow into moral, upstanding people. Anna-Jane has a love of children which led her into the Head Start program in New Jersey, her home state, which grew more and more as her life progressed. We will all miss her and at the same time rejoice in her attaining the crowns as promised by her King.
May the fondest memories of Anna-Jane live in and the peace of her God, the Lord Jesus Christ, be with you during this period of mourning.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 3, 3018 in the chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
