Charlene was born the daughter of the late Charles Stevens and Irene Lempke Stevens on August 18, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, and she volunteered at Grace Hospital for over 20 years. Charlene was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Along with her parents, Charlene is preceded in death by a grandson and a sister.
Those left behind to cherish Charlene include two daughters, Cindy Stilwell and her husband Dean of Connelly Springs and Nancy Forse of Texas; four sons, John Hansen of Arizona, James Hansen and his wife Lisa of Texas, Robert Hansen of Morganton and Billy Hansen and his wife Dana of Texas. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
