Charles James Beam

He was born August 10, 1930 in Davie Co. to the late Gerome and Bonnie Hughes Beam.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Bessie Wise.

He attended Laurel Haven Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Zulene Osborne Beam of the home; his sons Larry Beam and Gary Beam and wife Irene; his daughters Gail Wakefield; Kathy Mclean and husband Michael and Patricia Parker and husband Johnny; his sister Thelma King; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 5PM to 7PM at Kirksey Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 23, 2011 at 2PM at Laurel Haven Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Lawing officiating.
