

She was born to the late Clarence and Edna Boyce on May 15, 1950 in Burke Co.
Clarica was a member of Table Rock Baptist Church where she loved to work in the church. She graduated from Johnson C. Smith University with a masters degree in social work. She was employed and retired from Broughton Hospital after 20 years of service. Clarica was strong and courageous though the many challenges in her life. She fought a good fight until the end. She loved helping others.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, Clarica was preceded in death by her husband Allen Pearson.
Those left to cherish her memory is her son David Pearson, sisters; Vanesa Wilkins (Ronald), Marie Russell (Ronnie), and Keisha Boyce, granddaughters Tierney Gardner (Patrick), and Amber Gardner, great grandson; Aaron Parks, also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Her passing leaves a void in our hearts. We take comfort in the fact a part of her will continue to live and be reflected in all those who knew and loved her. May her precious soul rest in eternal peace.
The family will receive family and friends from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Burke Memorial Park. Revs. James Boyce & Walter Vinson, Officiating.
