Cynthia "Cindy" Mooney Cook

Born on December 17, 1959 to the late Janey McGinnis Jugar and John David Mooney Jr. in Haywood County, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Amy Mooney Shull.

Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Kenneth Lee Cook; daughters, Terri Rich Morrison and Taylor Teeple (husband, Josh); son, Jesse Rich; grandchildren, Aidan, Calen, Kenley, Locklyn, Oliver, and Maverick.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Morganton, North Carolina. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Nowlings Chapel Cemetery in Morganton, North Carolina.

Cindy enjoyed spending time in her flower garden, shopping, and being adventurous. She loved her husband Kenneth and her children dearly.
