Our Heavenly Father in His infinite wisdom returned to receive unto himself, Ms. Dannie M. Guinn, 94, from labor to reward. Ms. Guinn made her transition on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Burke Hospice & Palliative Care after recent declining health.
Dannie was born October 23, 1922 in Gaffney, S.C. to the late Lula Guinn and Robert Barton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Jones, daughter Deanna Guinn, son Billy J. Guinn, two Sisters Annie S. Wilson, Juanita O’Neil, three Brothers William Surratt, John L. Surratt, Charles E. Surratt.
Dannie frequently attended New Hope Baptist Church. She worked over 50 years in the Healthcare profession as a CNA at Beth Abraham Nursing Facility, Bronx, N.Y.
Ms. Guinn leaves to cherish a lifetime of beautiful memories two great grandsons, God Daughter Toni Williams of Sumter, S.C. Sister in Law Minnie J. Surratt of Morganton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
