Darlene Pritchard

Darlene Pritchard, 62, of Lenoir, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November, 22, 2017, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC.

Mrs. Pritchard was born in Caldwell Co., NC on February 6, 1955, to the late Ernest Pritchard and Rosa Lee Beall Pritchard.

She was a member of Wildwood Advent Christian Church in Lenoir and was retired from Thomasville Furniture.

Mrs. Pritchard was a very loving and caring wife and mother. She was a hard worker and enjoyed her job as a finisher. She was independent, stubborn and hard headed at times, spoke the truth, and quite spunky. She enjoyed watching pro wrestling and working on word puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Neil Douglas Pritchard; two brothers, David and Getty “Nuke” Pritchard; and two sisters, Marilyn and Peggy Pritchard.

Surviving Mrs. Pritchard are her children, Dustin Bryant and Elizabeth Lingle, both of Lenoir; five brothers, Tony, Dean, and Terry Pritchard, all of Lenoir, Ricky Pritchard of Hudson, and Ernest Pritchard of Morganton; six sisters, Julie Tripplet, Pam Poole, Celia Ryder, Joyce Martin, all of Lenoir, and Kim Hatton of Hudson and Teresa Buchanan of Granite Falls; six grandchildren, Carrie, Hunter, and Caleb Shivers, and Noah Filyaw, all of Lenoir.

Memorialization will be by cremation and the family will have a Memorial Service at a later date.
