Dian Laverne Brittain

Born September 14, 1961, in North Carolina to the late Azzell and Clarence Collins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Juanita Wiseman, Deborah Collins, and Loretta "Pete" Wise; brothers, Darrel Collins and Randy Collins.

Those left to cherish her memory is her partner of thirty-nine years, Michael "Tub" Brown; sons, Paul Brittain (wife, Brandy), Billy Brittain; brother, Roy Collins (wife, Janice); sister, Brenda "Sue Baby" Wiseman; grandchildren, Paul Brittain Jr., Nicholas Brittain, Madison Brittain, Mckenzie Brittain, Nevaeh Brittain; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dian enjoyed life to the fullest and cherished spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Morganton, North Carolina. A visitation for friends and family will be held one hour prior to the service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
