Donna Wilson

Donna was a devoted woman who always put God’s will and others first. She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She deeply loved and cared for her family and always placed their happiness above her own. She held a deep faith in God throughout her life and was a member of Hicks Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Wilson; her parents, Troy Stroud Sr. and Barnard McKinney Stroud; and her brothers, John Stroud, Glenn Stroud, and Harry Stroud.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Gray; son, Derek Wilson; daughter-in-law, Jessica Mize-Wilson; grandchildren, Karissa Burris, Paige Mingle, Alex Towe, Brittan Towe, Rylan Wilson, Bryson Towe, and Harrison Wilson; and her great-grandchild, Carson Burris; and brother Oliver Troy Stroud.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Hicks Chapel Baptist Church in Marion, NC with burial to follow in Stroud Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Levine & Dickson Hospice House-Huntersville, 11900 Vanstory Dr., Huntersville, NC 28078 in Donna Margaret Wilson’s memory.
