Earl J Anthony

Earl retired after 43 years of dedicated service to Drexel Furniture. He was a long time member of Drexel Memorial Baptist Church. Earl was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

Along with his parents, Earl is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jewel Johnson Anthony; a brother, Delbert Ray Anthony; a sister Betty Anthony Newton; and a granddaughter, Shea Elizabeth Hall.

Those left behind to cherish Earl’s memory include his daughter Winona Baldridge and her husband, Dennis of Drexel; two sons, Allen Anthony and his wife, Lydia of Maiden; Ken “Dumplin” Anthony and his wife, Julie of Drexel; Grandchildren Cheyenne Baldridge, Renee Watts, Michael Anthony, Crystal Rothrock, and Jessica McGalliard; 9 great grandchildren including a wonderful care taker, Taylor Carpenter. Earl is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Earl will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at Drexel Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Drew Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Kirksey Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm.

The family suggest memorials be made to Drexel Memorial Baptist Church.
